Wheelchair Transfer Device
| Challenge: |
A person with paraplegia needed a device
in order to transfer from a wheelchair to closer to the ground in
order to work in the garden. |
| Solution: |
The stool will roll on its back wheels
when upright, but sits on legs when tipped down for use. The bottom
step slides out so the person can lower himself one step at a time
to get down out of his wheelchair, and do the reverse getting back
in. |
