Driving Wedge

Colleen
had been experiencing difficulty transferring into her van seat
and stabilizing her feet while driving the van. Her posture was
poor as well and over an extended period of time would cause pressure sores on the bottom of
her legs. |
| Solution: |
A
wooden wedge was designed and fitted under Colleen’s feet to aid
her while transferring into the van seat and stabilize her feet
and knees while driving. Thus her posture
was greatly improved and had eliminated the pressure under her legs which caused the pressure sores. |
