Shampoo Tray Adaptations
| Challenge: |
The shampoo tray used for washing the hair of people
with disabilities did not work correctly, as it sat too low on the
shoulders of some people, and the strap that had to be held while
the tray was in use was too short. |
| Solution: |
Support pads were attached to the underside of the
tray using Velcro™, so they can be removed if not needed. An
extension was fitted to the existing strap, and a clasp added so the
strap can be adjusted as required. |
