Machine Arm
Challenge:
Debra had
lost mobility in her legs and was unable to sew which had been an
activity which she regularlyenjoyed.
Solution:
The foot
pedal which activates and deactivates the sewing machine was mounted to the side of the sewing table
with an extended lever arm which allows Debra to use her
hands
to operate the sewing machine.
