Scooter Rain Cover

Tetra received a request from a gentleman who used his three-wheeled scooter for transportation around his neighbourhood and to the local mall. When it rained he had to wear a heavy and cumbersome raincoat. He wanted something light and practical that would keep him dry but at the same time increase his mobility in inclement weather.

In answer to this request, a volunteer built a structure using PVC pipes. The structure is installed and removed from the scooter by means of four aluminum fittings permanently attached to the scooter. Polyethylene sheets were cut to fit the pipe structure and attached with Velcro straps, creating an effective rain canopy.
