Overnight and daytime attendants were having
difficulty moving and turning our client in bed. Overextending and
straining back problems were a result because the regular draw sheet
was too small with nothing to grip making these adjustments very
difficult. |
| Solution: |
Our volunteer sewed and oversized draw sheet making
it large enough for our client's needs and so the attendants would
not have to strain to reach or pull the client in bed. Enforced
stitching and extended trim with handholds allowed for a durable and
ergonomic item. |
