Oversized Draw Sheet

Overnight and daytime attendants were
having difficulty moving and turning our client in bed.
Overextending and straining back problems were a result because
the regular draw sheet was too small with nothing to grip making
these adjustments very difficult. |
| Solution: |
Our volunteer sewed and oversized lifter
making it longer and wider so attendants would not have to strain
to reach or pull the client in bed. Enforced stitching and
extended trim with handholds allowed for a durable and ergonomic
item. |
