Modified Laundry Hamper
| Challenge: |
Helga has Cerebral Palsy and is unable
to bend her
legs at the knee making it difficult to pick up the
clothing needed to be washed out of the laundry
hamper. |
| Solution: |
A wooden box was added to the bottom of
the hamper
to bring it to a level which Helga could reach the
right to the very bottom with out bending her legs and
comfortably supporting her self with her canes. The
new base was also angled to bring the hamper closer
into Helga. |
