Modified Chair

Our client is not able to sit or bend at the
waist without severe pain due to an accident which damaged the
nerve in her groin. She was not able to sit for meals or any other
activity in her home.

| Solution: |
A chair was modified to permit her to sit while
maintaining her waist to remain straight thus allowing her to sit
with her family at meal times. This is the second version of the
cut away chair. The first version was not collapsible so was
limited in its use.
The lightness of this chair and its ability to be easily collapsed
and set up at different locations by the client has made it an
invaluable device in her daily life. |
