The client was not able to drink
independently and would become dehydrated due to lack of fluids. |
| Solution: |
A plastic molded cup holder with a
styrofoam insert in which various cup sizes to be used, was
mounted to the clients wheelchair with a metal U bracket and a
flexible gooseneck rod to allow easy positioning of the cup in
front of the client. The device clips away nicely to the side of
the wheelchair for easy access and it stays out of the way when
not in use. |
