Camera Mount/Stand

Challenge: A client in Vancouver wanted to be able to use a camera but was unable to hold it with her hands.
Solution:

The solution was directed at providing a mount to the scooter that would allow for all season, non-corroding use. (The scooter is mounted to the back of the client's car for road trips)

The volunteer designed a flexible "goose neck" device. A heavy duty jointed 3/4" coolant hose kit was screwed to a PVC connector glued to 3/4" PVC piping slit to slide onto the wire frame. The device is then clamped to the wire frame of the client's Triumph Scooter.

The client was very happy with the device since the 14" jointed hose allows for horizontal and vertical format photos to be made from a comfortable seating position. The unit can be pushed forward, curling into the scooter basket for safety and convenience.
