Door Remote Holder Mount
| Challenge: |
The client had a remote-control device to operate
his townhouse door, but found it inconvenient. The remote was
designed to be clipped to a shirt/jacket with a clip at the rear,
but this proved ineffective, and the client had to remove this when
driving as the seatbelt crossed over it. |
| Solution: |
A wooden box was made to hold the remote with just
enough room to slide it out to change the batteries. The box was
then mounted on to the client’s wheelchair, to allow easy access. A
Velcro strap was used to secure the remote, and the box was painted
to weather proof it for the winter months. |
