The Post Polio Awareness & Support Society of
British Columbia (PPASS) was formed to act as a network for those
who had polio, those affected by Post Polio and all interested parties.
PPASS is a non-profit society that links Area Groups, through a board
and provincial office in Victoria, BC.
They provide members with a bi-monthly newsletter and access to their
Resource Centre containing many articles, books, and audio & video
tapes.
PPASS bring awareness to the community by providing a source of
education and dissemination of information about the facts, research,
and treatments available for Post Polio Syndrome.

TADSA is a not-for-profit, voluntary
organization that applies innovative design and technology to assist the
elderly and people with disabilities. Technical Aid to the
Disabled (South Australia ) was founded in 1977.
It operates from an office situated at the Royal Society for the Blind,
Blacks Rd. Gilles Plains.
TADSA consists of a dedicated group of approximately 60 volunteers with
a wide range of technical skills and a part time paid Office Manager.
The Organization is funded by a small grant from the South Australia
Government and relies in the main on donations from the public and other
Organizations.

TADVIC is an organisation whose volunteer
members design, construct or modify equipment for people with
disabilities. This service is provided where no commercially available
solution will meet their needs..
Founded in 1975 and incorporated in 1977, it operates from an office
at the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre in Kew, Melbourne Australia.
TADVIC is staffed by part time occupational therapists, who co-ordinate
metropolitan projects, and administration support staff. We are funded
by a grant from the Department of Human Services and donations.
In recent years, in response to community demand, TADVIC has
established 10 branches in rural Victoria. TADVIC has over 200
volunteers throughout the state, and we complete approximately 500
projects each year.

network that includes the University
of Washington Center for Technology and Disability Studies (UWCTDS), and
the AT Resource Center at

network of 1,500 volunteers. The professional engineers, technicians,
